The Reinforced Lands are works of naturalistic engineering that are widely used in the realization of excavations on the ground for containment works of undercutting and counter-routing in the road, rail, slope and hydraulic fields.
The basic concept underlying this constructive technique is to insert a reinforcement into the ground to improve the shear resistance available in the soil / structure stock. On the basis of this, a reinforced ground work increases the tensile strength properties of the soil itself, enabling the construction of works with a higher inclination (eg 65 ° -70 ° -80 °) than the angle Of natural slope (30 °). Reinforced earth is a high flexibility, adaptability and low environmental impact structure. The ridges and the embankments resulting from it allow to limit the dimensions and to make works with geometries suitable for many technical problems.

Features

The constituent elements of a reinforced ground are essentially the structural planar reinforcement, the external frontal facing and the soil.

The FAST-TER® pre-assembled system is characterized by structural reinforcements made of double twisted metal mesh with hexagonal mesh 8 x 10, with iron wire with zinc-aluminum alloy coating and plastic polymer extrusion (long durability protections - DM 14/9/05 - Technical Standards for Construction, supra LL.PP. - Guidelines for the drafting of specifications for the use of twisted twisted wire mesh September 2013).
The structure features a galvanized ZN.AL5% Alloy galvanized mesh panel at the front and at the base. The retention function of the soil, on the frontal rinverdibile, is carried out by an anti-erosive biore woven in 100% biodegradable open coconut fiber.

The rinse-on front face is positioned at the right angle of the project with pre-shaped triangular metal brackets and pre-assembled to the structure itself. The FAST-TER® system can be designed and built with angles between 50 ° and 80 ° and all elements are supplied to measure according to project specifications.
